and the peasants throughout the province are also subject to

cruel oppression. Our peasants in the province, in order to

support the 3 great revolutionary policies of President Sun

and the authority of our Kuomintang, and to maintain our

revolutionary foundation and the peace of Kwangtung have had

a rising against Li. During the past 3 months, we fought

hard, and though we have suffered repeated heavy losses,

yet we fought with all determination, aiming at the complete

overthrow of the reactionaries. Now we are happy to learn

that our Government in Wuhan is marching out on an expedition

against the South-east with a view to punishing Tseung & Li.

Again we have perused the memorandum of the Commission in Kwangtung for the suppression of Reactionaries, which has encouraged all our workmen and peasants in the province to great activity. Our Associations are now leading all our

workmen and peasants in the province to proceed in a body to

punish the rebels in conjunction with our revolutionary

officers and men. We will overthrow the Government of Tseung

Kai Shek and Li Chai Sham, support all counter-revolutionists support the 3 great revolutionary policies to the end, strengthen the authority of our Kuomintang and restore our revolutionary base in Kwangtung. This telegram is specially sent, and we are anxious for your advice.
